Which Campus to Choose

Cave Creek is the original site, open since December 1997 on high desert north of Lone Mountain, and it still runs board-and-train camps and DaySchool on that same rural property. Scottsdale followed in 2021, closer to Shea Boulevard and the 101 for families who wanted the same programs without the drive north.

The full lineup runs at both: Foundation Camp, Behavior Camp, Transform Camp, DaySchool, Dog Boarding, Snake Avoidance, Private Lessons, and Group Classes. Choosing a campus is mostly a question of drive time.

The two are a real distance apart. Cave Creek sits well north of the Scottsdale campus, past Lone Mountain, and the drive between them is long enough to swallow an entire visit window.

Pet Parenting Group Classes run at Scottsdale and Cave Creek on separate location calendars, and private lessons are scheduled around trainer availability at either campus. If the campus you want isn't your usual one, say so when you enroll and the team will place you there.

Why the Two Sets of Hours Differ

Office hours cover the front desk: tours, consultations, paperwork, and any scheduled appointment. DayCamp runs on that same clock. DaySchool opens earlier and closes later because those dogs are on-site through the working day, so the building is unlocked before the first office visitor arrives and stays open after the last one leaves.

At 5:30pm on a Tuesday, the DaySchool floor is still running while the office has already closed, so an errand that needed the front desk waits for tomorrow. Saturday is the sharper version: the office shuts at 2pm and DaySchool keeps going until 4pm.

Drop-Off and Pickup Windows

DaySchool and DayCamp both run without a fixed drop-off or pickup window. Bring your dog any time your program's hours are open; there's no 7am rush and no 6pm deadline built into the schedule. DaySchool covers what a full day looks like once your dog is dropped off.

Before You Drive Over

  • Match your errand to its hours: office hours cover a consultation, tour, paperwork, or a DayCamp day; only DaySchool runs the longer 7am-6pm schedule.
  • Confirm your campus before you leave, especially if your dog moves between locations for different programs. Check your confirmation email or your profile in the Pet Parent Portal Guide.
  • Save both addresses in your phone so a wrong turn costs you minutes instead of the whole window, and allow a few extra minutes for Scottsdale traffic around Shea Boulevard and the 101.
  • Check Holiday Hours & Seasonal Events before a trip near a federal holiday. The hours above don't apply on the six days we close to the public.

If Something Does Not Add Up

An emergency pickup outside posted hours, real uncertainty about which campus your dog's reservation is at, or a scheduling conflict tied to deposits or cancellations under our General Booking Policies all warrant going straight to the team. A quick email to enroll@partnersdogs.com with your dog's name and the date in question gets someone sorting it out.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need an appointment to visit during office hours?

Tours and general questions are easiest during office hours, and calling ahead means someone is free when you arrive. For anything specific to your dog's program, book the visit so you get a trainer who already knows the file.

Which location should I choose?

Whichever one is closer to home. The full program lineup, camps included, runs at both campuses, so the choice rarely limits what's available to you.

How far apart are the two campuses?

Far enough to plan around. Scottsdale sits at Shea Boulevard and the 101; Cave Creek is north of Lone Mountain and Cave Creek Road, about 10 minutes north of where the 101 meets Cave Creek Road. Plan one campus per trip.

Do office hours apply to boarding drop-off and pickup?

Your boarding drop-off and pickup times are confirmed with the team when you book the stay, and they happen while the campus is open. See Overnight Boarding for how a stay is scheduled.

Can my dog attend classes or DaySchool at both locations?

Both campuses run the same programs, and the team can enroll you at either one. Group Classes keep separate schedules per location, so check the campus calendar for the grade and time slot you want.

Are you open on Sunday?

No. Both campuses close to the public on Sunday: no drop-offs, pickups, or classes. Dogs already boarding or in camp stay on their normal care routine that day.
