Common Questions & Answers
What vaccinations are required?
Bordetella, Rabies, and DHPP (Distemper/Parvo). Each must be administered at least 7 days before arrival to ensure protection.
Can I bring my dog’s own food and toys?
Yes—please label everything. Bringing your dog’s regular food helps prevent tummy upset. Personal items are welcome; note that toys/blankets may be soiled or chewed during a stay.
How will I get updates?
You’ll receive periodic photo/video updates with notes on activities, appetite, and rest. If you’d like daily training-style Pupdates, add a DayCamp/DaySchool plan.
How are dogs grouped for play?
Play or social time (when applicable) is supervised and grouped by size, temperament, and energy. Dogs who are less social or working on behavior goals may benefit from DayCamp.
Can you give medications?
Yes. Bring medications in original packaging with clear written instructions (dose, timing, special notes).
What if my dog has behavior sensitivities?
Tell us at booking. We can adjust handling and recommend DayCamp or—if issues are significant—schedule a PD360 assessment to consider a training program.
Do you bathe dogs before pickup?
A bath & brush is included before checkout so your dog goes home clean and comfy.
What if my dog becomes ill during the stay?
We isolate if symptoms arise, contact you immediately for pickup, and—if you’re unavailable—continue isolation and care until pickup or vet transfer as appropriate.
Are there pickups on holidays?
No pickups/drop-offs on closed holidays. Please check Holiday Hours & Seasonal Events when planning.
