Step-by-Step Guide to Using Hubspot Sequences

Where the full HubSpot Sequences procedure lives now, plus the vendor references for building and enrolling a sequence.

Using Sequences Today

Sequences still work the way you already know: open Sequences from the Automation menu, or jump straight to the account's Sequences dashboard. Review the sequence before you use it, enroll your contacts, and work the responses as they come in. That is the whole procedure, and it has not changed by being consolidated here.

For a real, worked example, including what happens if a lead responds and what happens if she does not, see Sequences and Workflows Overview. That article carries the actual enrollment walkthrough and the workflow side of the same automation, so this one no longer repeats it.

At last review, enrollment was capped at 50 contacts per bulk-enroll attempt, with a 500-email daily sending limit on the account. Confirm both figures with your manager or HubSpot admin before you plan around either one; account sending limits change.

Vendor Reference

What Do I Say When You Are About to Hit the Enrollment Cap Mid-List

Nothing to the lead, this is an internal limit. Stop enrolling once you reach the cap for that attempt, and carry the rest of the list into your next attempt rather than forcing it all through in one pass.

Who to Ask

Which sequence fits a lead, or whether the enrollment cap and sending limit above are still current, is your manager's call. Check with them before you build a plan around either number.
