Email & Communication Tips

The email formatting standard and the in-person guest checklist behind every interaction.

Purpose

Every email sent from a Partners Dog Training account represents the business, whether it's a two-line reply or a full update. Meet the standard below every time.

Email Checklist

  • Professional tone, always.
  • No grammar or spelling errors.
  • Address the recipient formally.
  • Line spaces between the greeting, the body, and the salutation.
  • Line spaces around any paragraph longer than 3-4 sentences, business-letter format.
  • End with a pleasant salutation.
  • Sign off with your name and the facility's contact information.
  • Use approved images only. No watermarks. No pixelation.

How do I verify an email is ready to send?

Reread it against the checklist above before you hit send, not after. A line-by-line pass catches a missing line space or a stray typo while you can still fix it.

In-Person Checklist

  • Greet every guest with a genuine smile, even mid-call.
  • Acknowledge a waiting guest right away; tell them you'll be right with them.
  • Finish fully with the guest in front of you before moving to the next.
  • Never rush one guest to get to another.
  • Give whoever is in front of you your full, undivided attention.

Most guests don't mind a short wait, as long as the service they get once it's their turn is excellent.
