Which of our three facility chemicals to use for a given job, how the dilution machines set the ratio, and why bleach never touches a Suite.
Purpose
This SOP runs on three chemicals and three jobs. It tells you which of our three facility chemicals a task calls for, why correct dilution matters, and the one hard rule around bleach and our Suites.
A good cleaning removes the organic material bacteria grow in, but it doesn't kill all bacteria, viruses, or fungi. Disinfecting is the separate step that gets the facility to a safe standard, and it only works if the product is diluted the way it was built to be used.

- Triple Two: our general daily disinfectant, used across the facility.
- Eliminator: used outside, more effective on soil than Triple Two.
- Degreaser: used once a week on common areas to break down oil, residue, and bacteria buildup.
- All three dilute at a 2 to 4 oz/gal setting through our chemical dilution machines, which set the ratio automatically.
- More product is not better. Over-strength product can irritate or burn skin and upper airways, in dogs and staff alike.
- Bleach is never used on a Suite, for any job. It's corrosive and will damage the enclosures.
Steps
- Match the job to the right product: Triple Two for general daily cleaning, Eliminator for outside or soil-heavy work, Degreaser for the weekly common-area pass.
- Draw the diluted solution from that chemical's dilution machine. The machine sets the 2 to 4 oz/gal ratio for you; don't add extra product on top of what it dispenses.
- Apply the solution the way the task calls for: spray bottle, mop bucket, or foot bath.
- Never use bleach on a Suite enclosure, regardless of what the job is.
- Do not add more product to make a solution stronger. Every one of these products is built to be effective at its established dilution ratio, and going over it can irritate or burn skin and airways.
Edge Cases
What if I'm not sure which chemical a job calls for?
Default to Triple Two for anything general and indoors. Use Eliminator for outdoor, soil-heavy jobs. Degreaser is only for the weekly common-area pass.
Why does over-strength product matter so much?
Because these products are formulated to be effective at their established dilution ratio, and going over it is what causes skin or upper respiratory irritation and burns, in dogs and staff alike. More is not better; it is the failure mode.
What if I need to disinfect inside a Suite enclosure?
Use Triple Two or Degreaser through the normal dilution system. Bleach is off the table entirely for Suites; it corrodes the enclosure material.
Who to Ask
Three products, three jobs: memorize which one covers daily indoor work, which covers outdoor soil, and which handles the weekly common-area cleanup, and the rest becomes routine. If a job genuinely doesn't fit Triple Two, Eliminator, or Degreaser, ask your manager before mixing anything by hand.
