Updated Memberships: Partners Plus, Premium, Platinum
What each membership tier includes and why it matters at the desk, plus the exact Gingr steps to set one up, and the billing, credit, and contract rules that go with it.
Purpose
This is what the Partners Plus, Premium, and Platinum memberships cover and why it matters at the desk: they are a 12-month recurring commitment, not a one-time purchase, so the setup steps and the contract requirement below are not optional paperwork. This SOP covers what each tier includes, how billing and credits work, and the exact steps to create one in Gingr.
At a Glance
- Partners Plus is $199 a month, includes 4 DaySchool days or 2 DayCamp days a month, and gives 10% off other standard-rate services.
- Partners Premium is $399 a month, includes 8 DaySchool days or 4 DayCamp days a month, and gives 20% off.
- Partners Platinum is $599 a month, includes 12 DaySchool days or 6 DayCamp days a month, and gives 30% off.
- Every tier is a 12-month commitment with a 25% early-termination fee, bills automatically on the 1st, and issues credits monthly that expire 180 days after issuance with no carryover.
- A membership is not active until the client signs the Gingr contract, sent by SMS.
Steps
Setting Up a Membership in Gingr
- Open the client's Owner Profile.
- Click Buy Membership.
- Select the tier: Plus, Premium, or Platinum. Gingr auto-populates the included benefits from the dog's PD360 program; check that the auto-populated day count matches the tier (4/2, 8/4, or 12/6 DaySchool/DayCamp days) before continuing.
- Confirm the membership is tied to the correct client profile.
- Set the billing start date. Leave it blank to start today, with the charge and included benefits prorated for the remaining days in the month. Choose the first of the next month instead to delay billing, with no charge today. Major holiday blackout dates can affect availability and are approved case by case.
- Send the membership contract to the client's phone by SMS. It must be signed before you continue.
- Once the signed contract is back, click Complete Purchase to activate the membership.
What the Discount Applies To
- The membership must be active and paid for the discount to apply.
- The discount applies to standard rates on individual services: camp, additional DaySchool or DayCamp days, boarding nights, Pet Parenting Classes, private lessons, training or treadmill sessions, baths and nails, and retail.
- The discount does not apply to packages or to blackout dates around major holidays.
How Credits Work
- Credits are added to the client's account on the first day of each month.
- Each month's credits expire 180 days after they are issued, with no carryover once they expire.
- Credits can be used for any dog associated with the primary account, for the designated service (DaySchool or DayCamp).
- Credits are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or another service.
Edge Cases / Troubleshooting
The client wants to cancel or pause the membership themselves
They cannot. Cancellation and pausing are management-only, and an early cancellation may trigger the 25% early-termination fee under the signed contract. Route the request to a manager.
The contract has not been signed
The membership stays inactive. Do not click Complete Purchase until the signed contract is back; there is no way to activate a membership around this step.
The billing start date was set wrong
Once submitted, the billing cycle and start date are locked in and cannot be edited on the record. Escalate to a manager for the correction path rather than trying to rebuild the membership yourself.
The client asks whether unused credits roll over
They do not. Credits land on the first of each month, expire 180 days after they are issued, and are non-refundable; they cannot be exchanged for cash or another service.
Vendor Reference
Gingr documents the membership screens on its own support site; use the links below to confirm a screen name if something here looks different from what you see.

Who to Ask
Ask a manager for any cancellation, pause, billing-date correction, or blackout-date exception; none of these are a front desk call. Ask a manager as well if the PD360-auto-populated benefit level does not match the tier the client selected. If a step above does not match what you see on screen, check the vendor doc first before assuming the whole process changed.
