Daily & Monthly Schedule Guide
(~7 min) A parent-friendly look at what a normal day and month look like at Partners Dog School—from boarding, potty rotations, day-program training blocks to group classes, holidays, and weather adjustments.
Overview
This guide shows you exactly how our days run and how a typical month stacks up across both campuses, so you can plan confidently. You’ll see when boarding dogs go out (multiple rotations starting early morning), how DaySchool and DayCamp are scheduled in focused training blocks with built-in rest, and when group classes usually meet on weekday evenings and weekends. We also outline monthly cadence recommendations (e.g., 1–2 day-program visits per week, lesson timing, and class progression), plus how holidays and Arizona weather shift the plan.
Because no two dogs—or days—are identical, we highlight where timing is flexible (age, medical needs, training goals, heat) and point you to the Parent Portal calendar as the single source of truth for your reservations. When schedules change (capacity, weather, events), you’ll receive notifications and see updates reflected on your portal schedule.

How We Rotate Dogs (Safety & Handling)
We keep rotations calm, controlled, and respectful:
-
Dogs move on slip leashes; staff maintains loose-leash walking through halls.
-
We expect threshold sits before doors; release cues out to yards.
-
Overexcited (barking/jumping/bolting) or insecure (cowering/shaking) dogs get extra time and gentle coaching.
-
Unsure or special-needs cases are escalated to senior staff.
-
Yards stay secured; staff manage gates—no exceptions.
Pick-Up, Drop-Off & Communication
-
Parent Portal shows your reservations, class times, and any modified hours.
-
For day programs and camps, you’ll receive Pupdates (photos/video + notes).
-
If we ever need to shift your dog’s day (weather/health), you’ll see a Portal alert and/or message.
Common Questions & Answers
How many potty breaks do boarding dogs get?
At minimum: early morning (~6 AM), mid-morning (~10 AM), afternoon (~4 PM), plus a final let-out. We also add potty breaks after training sessions and any time a dog signals they need to go.
When are group classes held?
Most commonly weekday evenings and weekend mornings. Check the live Cave Creek and Scottsdale calendars for exact times and openings.
Will weather change my dog’s routine?
Yes, during extreme heat or storms we adjust outdoor time and shift training indoors. We’ll update your schedule in the Parent Portal.
Are holiday closures true closures?
Yes—no public drop-offs/pick-ups or classes. Boarding care continues normally. Early-close days (Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve) shut at 12 PM.
Can I request extra walks or training while boarding?
Absolutely—add DaySchool, DayCamp, or treadmill sessions. Ask at check-in or add to your booking in the Parent Portal.
How do I know what my dog did today?
Day programs and camps send Pupdates; boarding receives periodic updates, and you can add training for daily media. Your trainer can outline what to practice at home.
